Sark Information
Sark is the smallest of the four main Channel Islands, located about 80 miles off the south coast of England. Although only three miles long, and a mile and a half wide, it has 40 miles of the most picturesque coastlines anywhere in the world. The island is on a plateau at an average of 90m above sea level. There are no cars on Sark, transport is provided by tractors, horse drawn carriages and bicycles. The normal population is around 600 plus summer visitors and seasonal workers. The climate is similar to Devon and Cornwall
